Pick and place test application with line gantry

The Pick-and-Place test, conducted by rbtx for a client, is a detailed process that demonstrates the capabilities of automation systems.In the first step of the test, a plastic disc is picked up using an igus linear portal.

The igus linear portal is a high-precision device specifically designed for such tasks. It uses vacuum technology to securely and reliably pick up the plastic disc.

After the disc has been picked up, it is placed at a specific position. This step requires high precision and accuracy, as the positioning of the disc is crucial for the next step of the test.In the final step of the test, the positioned disc is pressed in using an aluminum profile attached next to the gripper. This step demonstrates the versatility of the system, as it is capable of using additional components like the aluminum profile to perform additional tasks.
