Automated touchscreen quality control with igus ReBeL

In this application of a customer of our igus subsidiary in India, the feasibility of an automated touchscreen control was to be tested with a test setup.

In order to fulfil the requirements and offer a cost-effective solution, the decision was made to use a ReBeL 6-axis robot and equip the 6th axis with a touch pen. The test was successfully realised and, due to the very low costs, the investment was amortised within a few months.
