Robot arm turns springs into foam mattresses

In this customer test, the insertion and programming of springs in textile materials was tested. The main focus was on the number of cycles. With the igus Robolink DP, the installation of the springs could be carried out completely. If the springs are only to be lightly fixed so that further assembly can be carried out afterwards, this can be easily implemented with the help of a Scara robot.
