Unitree G1 Basic & Basic EDU

The Unitree G1 Basic and G1 Basic EDU are compact, foldable humanoid robots designed for entry-level robotics as well as education, research, and development applications. Featuring 23 degrees of freedom, a depth camera, 3D LiDAR, an 8-core CPU, and approximately two hours of battery life, they provide a unified platform for testing motion control, perception, and AI capabilities. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and compatibility with ROS and ROS 2 support seamless integration into development environments. In addition, the EDU version offers enhanced capabilities for secondary development and SDK- and API-based applications in research, education, and AI projects.

Depending on the configuration, additional degrees of freedom, dexterous gripper hands, optional wrist axes, expanded SDK and API access, and more powerful computing modules can be integrated. As a result, the G1 Basic EDU is particularly well suited for ROS and ROS 2 projects, AI research, embodied AI, secondary development, and advanced research applications involving custom software development.
